ASTEC Recruitment 2017 – Walk in for Project Scientist & IT Technician Posts: Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) has published notification for the recruitment of Project Scientist & IT Technician vacancies for the project titled “BHUVAN State Node” and “North East Spatial Data Repository” on temporary basis. Eligible candidates may walk in interview on 02 & 03-06-2017 at 11:00 am onwards. ASTEC Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 03
Name of the Post:
1. Project Scientist – Web GIS: 01 Post
2. Project Scientist – Application of Remote Sensing & Web GIS: 01 Post
3. IT Technician: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 35 years for general, 40 years for SC/ ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates as on 16-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable to Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities candidates as per GOI rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess B.E/ B.Tech (Computer Science/ IT) for Post No. 01, Masters Degree in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing for Post No. 02 & Graduation with Diploma/ Certificate course in Hardware/ Networking/ RedHat LINUX for Post No. 03 with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
