2. Junior Laboratory Assistant
(i). Deptt. of Earth Sciences: 01 post
(ii). Deptt. of Biosciences & Bioengineering: 01 post
Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit should not exceed 27 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess Diploma in Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Printing technology/ Electronics & Communication Engg or equivalent of three years duration for Junior Mechanic post, B.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry/ Earth Sciences , Bachelors degree in Biosciences such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences for Junior Laboratory Assistant post.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance written/ trade tests and in interview.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay a fee of Rs.50/- in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay payable on SBI, Powai, Mumbai. No application fee for SC /ST /PH & Woman candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format given in the website with copies of certificates/ testimonials, caste etc along with bank DD by writing the name and post applied for on the reverse of demand draft to IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai -400076 on or before 18-03-2013.
