Age Limit: Candidates age should be 31 years for S.No-01, 28 years for S.No-02, 35 years for S.No-03, 04, 40 years for S.No-05 as on 09-04-2018. Age Relaxation is applicable as per Government orders.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess First class Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Technology of 3 years full time duration or atleast 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or its equivalent for S.No-01, First class Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Technology of 3 years full time duration or atleast 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or its equivalent for S.No-02, BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation for S.No-03, B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Technology for S.No-04, BE/ B.Tech. in Civil Engineering for S.No-05 with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written, skill, trade test & interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.serc.res.in on or before 09-04-2018 upto midnight & send hard copy of online application duly signed along with recent passport size photograph, self attested copy of matriculation/ SSLC as proof of age/ degree/ provisional degree certificate, copies of mark sheets for all the semesters/ years, SC/ ST/ OBC certificate(s), work experience certificates, testimonials etc.in a sealed cover superscribed “Application for the post of Technical Assistant/ Senior Technical Officer(1)” to the Administrative Officer, CSIR, Structural Engineering Research Centre, CSIR campus, Taramani, Chennai – 600113 on or before 23-04-2018 upto 05:00 pm.
