Sports Authority of India Jobs 2012 – Sports Science Personnel Posts: Sports Authority of India (SAI) has issued notification against recruitment of 24 Sports Science Personnel Vacancies in Sports Sciences & Medicine Cadres and its various Regional Centres/ Sub-Centres. 3. Biochemistry – 02 vacancies
4. Food & Nutrition – 02 vacancies
5. Biomechanics – 03 vacancies
6. Anthropmetry – 02 vacancies
7. Sports Medicine – 04 vacancies
Junior Scientific Assistant:
8. Psychology – 02 vacancies
9. Physiology – 02 vacancies
10. Biomechanics – 01 vacancy

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 35 years for Junior Scientific Officer and below 25 years for Junior Scientific Assistant posts. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 31-10-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess M.Sc/MD/MBBS in relevant specialty. For more details of qualification and experience required refer to the notification.

Application Fee Details: A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- must be drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, Sports Authority of India’ payable at New Delhi towards application fee. SC /ST /EXSM /PWD /Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Personal Interview taken together.

How to Apply: Candidates need to take print of application form available in the website www.sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates and documents and DD, to the following address, The Director (Personnel) Sports Authority of India Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (East Gate) 2nd Floor, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003 on or before 31-10-2012. Applications must be sent by Post, Speed Post or Courier or may be submitted personally.
