In the riot on Ferrix, Cassian Andor plays a pivotal role by breaking Bix out of captivity. Meanwhile, Syril Karn, who has been obsessively pursuing Cassian, saves Meero from a violent group of protestors, establishing a stronger bond between them.
Cassian and Bix escape the town and head for the shipyard, where they steal a vessel, and Bix flees Ferrix with Brasso and others. Despite promising to reunite with them, Cassian finds himself confronting Luthen Rael, who holds him at gunpoint.
In this tense moment, Cassian reveals that he knows Luthen came to Ferrix with the intention of assassinating him.
