Diablo 4 Gameplay
Diablo 4 Season 8
Season 8 of Diablo 4 introduces an exciting new focus on killing bosses and harnessing their powers. Players will have the ability to use signature abilities inspired by some of the game's biggest bosses, including the chest beam from Wandering Death.
Additionally, Belial returns as part of this season's content. Players will need to battle ghost-like figures, spawned by the Lord of Lies, in the new Apparition Incursions world event.
Belial will also serve as a new endgame boss. Moreover, multiple bosses from the Vessel of Hatred will be added as Lair Bosses, but these will only be accessible to players who own the expansion.
As an added bonus, players can earn increased loot from Lair Bosses throughout the season. Cosmetic updates are also part of Season 8, with the world of Berserk making its way into Diablo 4.
This includes cosmetics that players can either earn or purchase. Completing the Season Journey will reward players with a new pet—Iris, a creepy, hairless cat covered in gross, nasty eyes.
Additionally, Blizzard is changing the structure of the game’s battle pass by introducing the “Reliquary system,” which replaces the traditional battle pass with four major categories:
- Belial’s Return (free cosmetics inspired by the season)
- Weapons (premium track for weapon skins)
- Beasts (premium track for mounts and pets)
- Armor (premium track for armor skins)
A special Berserk Event Reliquary will also be available from May 6 to June 3. This will further expand the game's cosmetic offerings and reward players as they progress through the season.
