Each UP campus sets its own UPG cutoff for appeals, which can vary annually based on factors like applicant performance and available slots.

How to Appeal in UPCAT?
Successful applicants to the University of the Philippines (UP) through the UPCAT 2025 are officially qualified to enroll and will receive admission offers from the specific UP campus and degree program to which they were accepted. These applicants must confirm their decision to accept or decline the offer within the specified timeline.
If they choose to accept, they are expected to follow the registration and enrollment instructions given by their admitting campus or academic unit.
For those who did not qualify, they will be able to access their University Predicted Grade (UPG)—a composite score based on both their high school academic performance and UPCAT results.
The UPG is used to evaluate all applicants fairly. Non-qualifiers may use this score to appeal for admission to certain UP campuses, depending on the availability of slots and the specific appeal guidelines set by each campus.
UP advises all applicants to carefully read the instructions that come with their results. They are also encouraged to regularly check official UP channels for announcements regarding enrollment, appeals, and other important procedures.
