When Do Duke Regular Decisions Come Out?
Duke's Regular Decisions will be out in Late March/Early April. The admissions committee examines a number of documents that comprise each file while assessing applicants to Duke. The Common Application and Coalition Application go live in early August, marking the start of Duke University's application process. Duke Academic Requirements
Admissions advisors at Duke University advise prospective students to enroll in the most challenging courses offered. In addition to at least three years of mathematics, natural sciences, foreign languages, and social studies, they advise four years of English instruction.
Five academic courses should be taken annually by students, and if they are unable to finish four years of a given subject, they should substitute a course of equivalent difficulty.
Calculus is a must for admission to the Pratt School of Engineering, and physics is highly encouraged. Students are encouraged to enroll in advanced-level courses like honors, accelerated, college-level, AP, IB, or honors whenever possible, regardless of their selected major.

Does Duke Give Interviews to Everyone?
Although interviews are offered by Duke University, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
By January 2 of the year they intend to enroll, Regular Decision applicants must turn in their entire application. Although Duke tries its best to interview applicants who apply by the deadline, the absence of an interview has no bearing on admissions choices.
Does Duke Do Early Acceptance?
Early Decision and Regular Decision are the two application methods available at Duke University. If a student is admitted, they must commit to attending Duke because early decision is a legally binding option.
If an applicant's application is rejected through Early Decision, it may be sent to the Regular Decision pool for additional consideration.
Conversely, regular decision applicants are not obligated to commit if accepted and have until January 2 to apply.
Does Duke Reject Ed Applicants?
Although most ED applicants are rejected outright, Duke University usually defers more applicants than it admits in each ED round.
In order to provide deferred applicants another shot at admission, their applications are reevaluated in the Regular Decision pool. Deferral does not, however, ensure approval because there is still fierce rivalry.
