Xenoblade Chronicles X When Do I Get a Skell
Players can use Skells in Xenoblade Chronicles X after receiving the Skell License, but they don't immediately reach their full capability. Until players obtain a Flight Module, one of the most important features—flight—remains unavailable.
Only after completing Chapter 9 of the main story can you access this module by completing the "A Girl's Wings" Affinity Mission. Players must therefore be patient as they go through the game because there is a significant lag between getting access to Skells and being able to fly them.
What are the Different Types of Skells in Xenoblade?
There are 3 types of Skells in Xenoblade
1. Light Types
In Xenoblade Chronicles X, Light Type Skells have low HP but make up for it with great mobility, accuracy, and evasion. Despite having a small fuel capacity, they use very little fuel when in flight.
Because of this restriction, it is not recommended to equip weapons that use a lot of fuel, such as the Hexad-Partican, since they will quickly use up the Skell's fuel. Rather, for best results, guns with gasoline costs between $20 and $200 are advised. Furthermore, only light armor parts can be fitted to Light Type Skells.
2. Medium Types
In Xenoblade Chronicles X, Medium Type Skells provide a balanced performance with effortless maneuverability. Every portion of their body is covered with very robust armor, which increases their resistance to harm and makes them more difficult to destroy.
These Skells, who are frequently referred to as the Jack of All Trades, offer a combination of movement, defense, and offense without focusing on any one area. Furthermore, players have more customization options because Medium Type Skells can equip both medium and light armor components.
3. Heavy Types
The most resilient Skell kind in Xenoblade Chronicles X is the Heavy kind Skell, which has the highest HP and Physical Defense. They are perfect for pilots who use strong, fuel-intensive weaponry because they have the biggest fuel capacity. However, their mobility and evasion in combat are mediocre due to their enormous weight.
Furthermore, they use a lot of fuel while in flight, thus players must carefully manage their resources. The fact that Heavy Type Skells can equip any kind of armor—as long as it fits their level—is one of their main advantages.
How Long Does it Take to Get a Skell in Xenoblade Chronicles X?
Assuming a comparatively quick progression, players in Xenoblade Chronicles X could anticipate spending about 20 hours until they can get a Skell. But it will take more time to unlock the Flight Module because you have to finish a number of missions before Chapter 9.
Players can only acquire the Flight Module and fly their Skell after achieving this stage, which will increase their capacity for exploration and fighting.
