NEET PG Application Form 2025
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially started the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate 2025. Interested candidates can now fill out the application form starting from April 17. The registration window will remain open until May 7, giving aspirants ample time to complete their applications within the stipulated timeline.
The NEET PG 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on June 15. This year, the exam will be conducted in two separate shifts, accommodating a large number of candidates across the country. Detailed instructions regarding the shift timings, exam day guidelines, and other important information will be provided in the official bulletin.
NBEMS will release the official information bulletin today at 3 PM. The bulletin will contain essential details, including the complete syllabus, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and other key instructions related to the NEET PG 2025 exam. Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the bulletin before proceeding with their application.
Overview:
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking test prescribed as a single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma courses in accordance with Section 10(d) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 read with Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019. NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with 10 (D) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Candidates possessing MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognised under the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and permanent or temporary registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year internship or have completed internship on or before the prescribed cut-off for a specific admission session can appear for NEET-PG, provided the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Information Bulletin are met. Candidates in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before the prescribed cut-off for a particular admission session, may appear in NEET-PG, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed in the bulletin of information.
The following medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG:
1.AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS
2.PGIMER, Chandigarh
3.JIPMER, Puducherry
4.NIMHANS, Bengaluru NIMHANS, Bengaluru
5. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
No State Government/Private Medical college/Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses.
