Bank of India Clerk Selection Procedure Details: Bank of India recruits clerks every year on the basis of the clerk common written exam conducted by IBPS. The Candidates who possess a valid score card on behalf of their qualifying status are only eligible to apply for the Clerk Vacancies given by the bank. The following are the eligibility details to apply for the Clerk vacancy.
Selection Procedure:
1. IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam: The common written exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking personnel section (IBPS) every year which is accepted by 19 banks for recruiting Clerks. The qualified candidates will be issued a score card and it is valid for one year from the date of issuing.
2. Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, the bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high score in the common written exam for Interview.
3. Interview Marks: The total marks for Interview is of 100. The minimum qualifying marks for the General Candidates is 50% and for reserved category candidates is 45% (SC/ST/OBC).
4. Final Selection: The selection to the post of Clerk is entirely based on the total weighted score obtained in the common written exam and the marks obtained in Interview.
