Counties of Florida : How many Counties are in Florida?

          Florida is a Southeastern state in the United States of America. It has the longest coastline, which is spanning approximately 1350 miles. Florida was admitted to the union as the 27th state on 3rd March, 1845. It covers a total area of 65,758 square miles (170,312 sq. km) with a land area of 53,625 square miles and 12, 133 square miles of water area. In terms of area, the U.S. state Florida ranked 22nd among 50 U.S. states. According to the 2022 census, It has a population of approximately 22,244,823 residents, making Florida the 3rd most populous in the United States.

          The U.S. state of Florida sub-divided into 67 counties, these are the subdivisions of the state government, each exhibiting its unique characteristics, culture, and history. Broward County

It occupies an area of 1,209 square miles (3,131 sq. km). Fort Lauderdale is the largest city & the County seat, which is a coastal city located north of Miami-Dade County.

Palm Beach County
