IOB Clerk Eligibility Details

IOB Clerk Eligibility Details: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) recruits clerks on the basis of the clerk common written exam conducted by IBPS.  The Candidates who possess a valid score card on behalf of their qualifying status are only eligible to apply for the Clerk Vacancies given by the bank. The following are the eligibility details to apply for the Clerk vacancy.

Eligibility Details:

1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age limit: Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age is of 28 years.

3. Relaxation of Upper age limit:

3. Physically Challenged Category 10 years
4. Ex-Servicemen 3 years
5. Widows, Divorced women and Women judicially separated from their husbands, who have not remarried (subject to a maximum of 35 years for General, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates) 9 years
6. Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 5 years

4. Educational Qualification:

(i) Candidates should pass with 65% marks in HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern or Intermediate or any equivalent examination from a recognized university.
(or)
A pass with 60% marks in Diploma in Banking or degree with a minimum of 50% of marks in any discipline from a recognized University.
(ii) Computer knowledge is essential.
(iii) Candidate should have scored minimum Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) in     the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS should only apply.

5. IBPS Score Requirements:
Individual Test Cut-Off:
General category: 24
Reserved category (SC/ST/PWD/OBC): 21
