IOB Clerk Selection Procedure Details: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) recruits clerks on the basis of the clerk common written exam conducted by IBPS.  The candidates who possess a valid score card on behalf of their qualifying status are only eligible to apply for the Clerk Vacancies given by the bank. The selection procedure followed by Indian Overseas Bank for Clerical Cadre has been detailed below…

Selection Procedure:

1. IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam: The Candidates who possess a valid score card issued by IBPS in the Common Written Exam for Clerical Cadre and have the score mentioned by Indian Overseas Bank are only eligible.

2. Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies and who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on the Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) as per the cut-off marks (State/Union territory- wise) decided by the Bank will be called for the Interview.

3. Interview Marks: The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC/EXSM Candidates.

4. Final Selection: Final selection will be made on the basis of f total marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Clerical cadre posts conducted by IBPS, Interview and will be strictly according to the merit ranking.
