• Maximum Age Limit for Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) & Constable (kennelman) Posts: 27 Years
• i.e., Candidates should not have been born earlier than 11th September 1997 (11/09/1997) and later than 10th September 2006 (10/09/2006).
• Maximum Age Limit for Constable (Animal Transport): 25 Years
• i.e.,Candidates should not have been born earlier than 11 September 1999 (11/09/1999) and later than 10th September 2006 (10/09/2006).
• Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Rules

Physical Standards

For Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary) & Constable (kennelman):

Height :

• For all other States and Union Territory: Male 170 cm & Female 157 cm
• For Candidates filling in Categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belong to the State of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and the Union territories of Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshwadeep: Male 165 cm & Female 155cm
• For Candidates Belonging to North-Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura: Male 162.5 cm  & Female 152.5 cm
• For All candidates belonging Scheduled Tribes hailing from North-Eastern States as above and the Left Wing Extremism affected Districts: Male 160 cm  & Female 147.5 cm
• For All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes other than North-Eastern States and Left Wing Extremism affected Districts: Male 162.5 cm  & Female 150 cm

• Weight: Weight should be Proportionate to height and age

Chest (Male Only) :

Minimum Medical Standards:

• Eye Sight: The minimum distance vision shall be 6/6 and 6/9 for both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing spectacles or lenses
• Visual Acuity unaided (Near Vision) – Better Eye – N6, Worse Eye – N9, Uncorrected visual Acuity(Distant Vision) – Better Eye – 6/6, Worse Eye – 6/9
• Refraction : Visual Correction of any Kind is not Permitted even by glasses 

Physical Efficiency Test :

For Male Candidates : 

• For PET-Race 1.6 Kms (To be completed within 7:30 minutes)
• 11 Feet long jump (03 Chances to be given)
• 3½ Feet high jump (03 Chances to be given)

For Female Candidates : 

• For PET-Race 800 mtr (To be completed within 4.45 minutes)
• 09 Feet long jump (03 Chances to be given)
• 03 Feet high jump (03 Chances to be given)
