Selection Procedure: Consists of following stages
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Physical Test
4. Interview.
1. Preliminary Examination: Preliminary exam consists of 100 (objective type) questions, carries 100 marks, this exam conducted in both English and Marathi, duration 1 hour.
2. Main Examination: Main exam which is of objective questions, Paper I consists of 100 questions, carries 100 marks, this exam conducted in both English and Marathi, duration 1 hour, Paper II consists 100 questions it carries 100 marks, duration 1 hour.
3. Physical Test: After the result of Police Sub Inspector Main Examination there is a Physical Test which includes Pull-Ups 40 marks, Long Jump 30 marks, Shortput 30 marks, Running (800 Meters in 02:30 minutes) 100 marks, Total 200 marks.
4. Interview: 100 marks for interview, marks fixed for interview is 75 marks. (Those who qualified in Physical Test).
