Sikkim Police SI Exam Pattern: Sikkim Police Sub Inspector exam pattern details are given below….
Scheme of Examination: Sikkim Police Sub Inspector exam will consists of four stages, i,e. Preliminary Examination, Physical Endurance cum Physical Efficiency Test, Main Examination and Viva – Voce.
i. Preliminary Examination: Preliminary examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination by the candidate, who is declared qualified for admission to the Physical Endurance cum Physical Efficiency Test, will not be counted for determining his final order of merit. Preliminary examination will consists of two papers, i.e., Paper I & Paper II . Each papers will carry 200 marks in the duration of 2 hours. The question will be of multiple choice/objective type.
ii. Physical Endurance cum Physical Efficiency Test: Physical Endurance cum Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for 100 marks.
Physical endurance-cum-physical efficiency test for Male will be the following events:

iii. Main Examination: The candidates who qualified in preliminary examination will have to appear for Main Examination. Main Examination will be conducted for 700 Marks. Name of the subject and marks are given as follows..
a. General English – 100 (hundred)Marks
b. General Knowledge – 100 (hundred)Marks
c. General Papers (two optional subjects) – 500 Marks(250 marks each)
Optional Subjects: (Any two papers have to be opted by the candidates from the following list. However, candidates are not allowed to take the combination mentioned in the note below the subject list.

Candidates with language papers viz. Hindi, Nepali, English, Bhutia, Lepcha and Limboo will be allowed to opt only one language as optional subject, provided that candidate has graduated with literature of that particular language as one of the main subject at degree level. The question papers other than Hindi, Nepali, Bhutia, Lepcha and Limboo will be set in English.
