SSC SI (Delhi Police & CAPF) Exam Eligibility Details: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police & CAPFs Examination Eligibility Details are given below….
Eligibility Conditions:
A. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 4.2 and 4.3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
(e) A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
B. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 20-25 years. i.e., Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2003 to be eligible to apply.
Age relaxation for different categories:

C.Essential Qualifications:
A. Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent
B. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for Male candidates only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of SubInspector in CAPFs only.

Physical Endurance Test (PET) (For all posts):
For male candidates:
(i) 100 metre race in 16 seconds
(ii)1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
(iii) Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
(iv) High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
(v) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances
For female candidates:
(i) 100 metre race in 18 seconds
(ii) 800 metre race in 4 minutes
(iii) Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
(iv) High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances.
Note: There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.
E. Medical standard (For all posts):
Eye sight:
The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In right handed person, the right eye is better eye and vice versa.
Tattoo: Tattoos will be allowed as per following stipulations only:
(i) Content: Tattoo depicting religious symbol or figures and the name, as followed in Indian Army, are permitted.
(ii) Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands shall be allowed
(iii) Size: Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.
